User Privacy Choices

This page explains the privacy choices available to users of Heirloom Recipe Box (“Heirloom”).
1) Your choices in the app
A) Sharing controls
Heirloom is private by default. Where available, you can control who can see a recipe using visibility settings (for example: Private / Shared / Public).
B) Analytics controls (if available)
If analytics controls are available in your build, you can manage them in Settings.
2) Request account deletion
For users with an account
In-app deletion (preferred)
- Open Heirloom.
- Go to Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete Account.
- Follow the confirmation steps.
This permanently removes your account and all associated data within 30 days.
Email deletion (if you can’t access the app)
Email support@heirloomrecipebox.app with the subject line ”Account Deletion Request” and include the email address associated with your account.
For safety, we may ask you to confirm the request from the email address on the account.
For anonymous users
Simply delete the Heirloom app from your device. Your locally stored recipes will be permanently erased. Server-side anonymous data is automatically deleted within 35 days of inactivity.
3) Request access/export of your data
Email support@heirloomrecipebox.app with the subject line “Data Export Request” and include the email address associated with your account.
4) First Table Feedback
If you submit feedback as part of the First Table program, you can stop participating at any time. Previously submitted feedback is retained to improve the service but is not publicly attributed to you.
